After graduating high school Mickey attended SMU and studied English where he received a football scholarship. After losing his brother to mental illness he perused the NFL to honor him. While attending a NFL combine he was surprisingly approached and recruited by the U.S. Bobsledding Team. After traveling and representing the national team Mickey began working as a roughneck in the Oklahoman oilfield. Unfortunately, due to the downturn of oil production he was forced to lay over his rig. At that time Mickey turned to public service and decided to become a High School 9th grade English teacher at US Grant High School, in south Oklahoma City. Representative Dollens is the current House Minority Whip and serves on multiple committees including A&B Public Safety, Alcohol Tobacco and Controlled Substances, Elections and Ethics and Utilities. While the Representative has ran multiple bills many of them have a focused theme of equality for all Oklahomans.
